I Just Can’t Help Myself

19 Aug

It’s true – I just can’t stop.  Here we are…

…having finished what we set out to do…

aqua morning

…in beautiful Iuka Mississippi…

…and you would think that I would have had enough of this blogging stuff…

blue rosey

…nope, not a chance…

falling down

I have so many photos that just didn’t fit into any of the previous blog entries, so I’m going to just slip them into this one…

…pretend you don’t notice, okay?

I want to show you one more photo.

More than two years ago, we boldly ‘down-sized’ and moved all our ‘earthly goods’ (other than the stuff that sits waiting for us in Sydney) aboard Bushranger.  The next morning, we awoke to a dawn that seemed to shimmer over the docks.  As I looked out I saw a blue heron standing on the Aqua Marina dock rooftop, watching the sunrise – seeming to pay homage to the dawn.

We arrived back at Aqua on Sunday and ‘parked’ on the same dock from which we departed two years ago.  The next morning we awoke to this…

sun worship

…do ya’ reckon it might be the same bird?

Oh wow I love the Blue Herron photo. Yes I wonder if it’s the same bird. And I love the “Team Bushranger” photo with your team shirts and hats.
