Low Bridge, Everybody Down…

Low bridge, everybody down
Low bridge for we’re coming to a town
And you’ll always know your neighbor
And you’ll always know your pal
If you’ve ever navigated on the Erie Canal…

…guess where we are…

Yep, we’re at the start of the historic Erie Canal!

…and poor Bushranger needed a bit of a trim for the next part of the adventure.

Boyd gently lowered Bushranger’s mast down to a pre-made cradle (he’s so smart, isn’t he?…he actually designed, built, painted, then stored this ‘mast cradle’ a couple of years ago, knowing that it would come in handy during this part of the Loop) to ensure Bushranger could scoot under the ‘low bridges’ on the canal (see, the song actually knew what it was talking about!).

So, tomorrow we start the next adventure – through the Erie Canal. But tonight, we partied with friends! Would you believe, we found a lovely little pub (that sells craft beer, surprise, surprise!)?

So, with new friends Rich and Sue, off we went to sample a few…

I love the name of the Pub….the “Angry Penguin”

It seems there is nothing Boyd can’t do.

Hey Henry, how’s business at the marina? Boyd and I were just reminiscing about our visit to your marina — your fun golf carts, the outstanding restaurant, and of course you wonderful folks at the marina.
