Bushranger has pulled in for the evening — at a gas/petrol station.  We’re ‘parked’ right behind the station.

I have to admit, I have had a wonderful time at each place we’ve stopped, and this one is no different.  As I checked us in at ‘the marina office’ (which is also the cash register for the gas station), I met Ms. Wanda (who is in charge of the boats who transit this dock), and this is what I heard Ms. Wanda say, “I starts cookin dinna’ at quawta ta six and stops at six thurdy so you’all had betta be thah no lata than 6”. Now, I don’t speak ‘southern’ very well, but I think we had better be up at the restaurant no later than 6 if we’re planning on eating dinner there.  Although I was thinking of making pasta tonight onboard Bushranger, I admit that I am very tempted to have dinner with Ms. Wanda…just to enjoy something new…
