Manatee Cove

manatee cove

Bushranger is quietly ensconced at Manatee Cove Marina…and as the name implies, she’s rubbing shoulders with families of manatees.  As we pulled in, we were dodging and weaving around three of the critters.  We’ve been told that there may be 20 of these strange-looking mammals cavorting below the waterline; happily munching on the sea-grasses. …but, no photos for my blog, I’m afraid…every time I pulled out my camera, they dove!…they must be camera shy…

    Boyd,
Sean and I want to thank you for the opportunity to assist moving Bushranger from Manatee Cove to Daytona. We both had an excellent time and really enjoyed chatting with you.
We trust you and your bride will have a great adventure heading up the east coast.
When you come back to our neck of the woods please look us up.

    Regards,
Bill (i.e. Ned )and Sean Kelly

Tamera says thanks, for getting us out of her way for a couple days.

Hi ‘Ned’! I hope I get the opportunity to get to know you and your family. Thank you so much for helping my captain on his northern wander. Good luck with all your future adventures.
