Bushranger Has Come Home

26 Apr

Long ago, in a place far, far away — well, to be more precise, a couple of years ago in Iuka Mississippi — Bushranger became “Bushranger”.

It didn’t matter what or who she was before; she was transformed from a sad and forgotten trawler into a cherished and cared-for live-aboard.  To complete this transformation, she was christened “Bushranger” and registered as home-ported in Naples Florida. Well, this old girl has finally sailed home…

We are so very proud of you and Boyd. You remained focused and determined to take Bushranger to her “home” and despite setbacks from time to time, never lost faith in this fine “gal.” Here’s to many more wonderful adventures!

Thanks Heather! Next we’ll cut across the bottom of Florida (the Okeechobee) and pop out on the east coast of Florida — I bet we’ll see alligators!

I did not know Bushranger used to be a prawn trawler!
