Panama City – Dripping With Character

9 Apr

Bushranger has pulled into St Andrews Marina, just outside of Panama City, Florida.

St Andrews

As she serenely bobs at the floating docks of this lovely marina…

… Boyd and I have taken the opportunity to get back into shape – so ‘jogging’ is the order of the day!

St Andres Park 1
…and it was a great decision, since it gave us a chance to explore this charming place. The streets are framed with huge trees, dripping with spanish moss.

The parks are lush and cared for …

…so, THIS is why we’re ‘doing the Loop’!

 Next up – Apalachicola!

We’re working on it, Gregg…are you sure Summer Wind doesn’t want to come down and play with Bushranger?

Wow what a beautiful place. You’re living the dream. Bushranger looks proud and handsome moored at the Marina.

Hope you stop in Tarpon Springs on your way by.
You’ll enjoy the history, the food and the sponge docks.
Fort Desoto, a great state park with a lot of amenities
is at the bottom of the Tampa Bay peninsula.
We love being on the Gulf side, a lot of smooth sailing.

Happy Easter to you too Carolyn! Someday Boyd and I might wander down to the ‘other’ Panama, but for now, I’m happy to be wandering around the Panama in Florida.
