Entering Tennessee

We’ve left Alabama and are now in Tennessee waters.

Nickajack

Last night we pulled up at a little park that is just past the Nickajack Dam.

Bushranger in TennesseeIt was quiet, beautiful and just perfect…throughout the night, the haunting sound of a distant railroad would echo across the river.

That was last night…today we are again on the move.  We’re traveling through some of the most scenic parts of the Tennessee River (they call this the Grand Canyon of the Tennessee River…and it IS beautiful…but a bit of an exaggeration when compared to the actual Grand Canyon…but certainly worth seeing…).

So, I think I’ll enjoy my tea while Boyd captains Bushranger to one of my favorite cities: Chattanooga!
