Road Trip to Arkansas

Eureka Springs 1What do ya’ do while you’re waiting for your varnish to dry?…ya’ take a Road Trip!

So, off we went!…exploring the beautiful state of Arkansas.

Our first target was a small town on the top left tip of the state called Eureka Springs. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! It’s an historic old town that is built on the edge of the Ozark Mountains.

It’s one of the prettiest places I’ve seen in a long time. There are windy stairs up the stone walls hidden between ‘kitchie’ little shops and cafes… I loved it.

From there we wound our way through the Ozark Mountains, and over to the state capital, Little Rock. The city is just the right size. We even found a lovely coffee shop that featured local produce and breads – delicious!

The perfect break from the stinky varnish…
