Ceiling Fix

I know exactly how you feel…every morning you wake up, and the first thing that goes through your mind is, “I wonder what is happening with Bushranger?”

2 recut wood

…re-cut new wood for the frame (by the way, there is no such thing as a straight line on a boat, so each inch of wood is custom fitted)…

3 insulation

…cut and installed insulation between the beams…

cut new headliner

…cut the foam-lined vinyl headliner…

5 trim new headliner

…then trimmed and glued it onto the plywood…

6 varnish trim

…varnished the teak trim…

7 install headliner

…nailed the vinyl covered plywood back on to the ceiling…

8 install light

…re-varnished and rewired the old cabin light…

9 new ceiling

…screwed the teak trim over the new headliner…

10 smiling Boyd

…and magically, you have a new cabin ceiling!

…wooo, I’m exhausted…

….and I’m not even going to begin talking about all the electrical work that’s been going on…
