A Big Hole in the Wall

18 Feb

So, what do you get when you rip out cabinets and counters that have been standing there for more than 30 years?  You get a big hole in the wall:

galley holeThe question now is: should we replace the windows at the same time that we replace the galley….or is that just a bit over-the-top?

I think you two just like Iuka so much you don’t want to leave. Marianne

….ummmm, nope, I don’t think so….although, I have to admit, there are so many lovely people here, that I will miss them when we finally go….and, whenever that is, I will still open a bottle of champagne when Iuka is in our rear-view mirror.

No better time to do the windows than when you have everything ripped up anyway! Our 26 year old boat has occasional leaks in the windows, and we don’t know if yours does also, but if so, GO FOR IT is our thought. Hugs, Cathryn and Bob on Next To Me

Hi Cathryn and Bob. Thanks for the feedback. We’re just taking such a long time to get ‘on the road’….
