Packing Up

12 Nov

Here we go again.  We’re packing up our stuff, putting everything in boxes, and getting ready to depart ‘the fix’. Poor Koko suspects something is up (she HATES to travel!). If all goes well, tomorrow we will take everything from the cabin and stick it in our storage compartment (or in Bushranger if it’s convenient). Boyd, Koko and I are traveling to Florida for Thanksgiving/Mom’s 80th birthday. Boyd will be staying with us for about two weeks, then will head back to Oz for the Christmas season (Koko and I will remain in Naples to enjoy a warm Florida December).

So, this will be my last Bushranger posting for a bit.

See you in January….

Bushranger is nestled, all snug in her berth…not waiting for Santa, but waiting for our return in January when she will continue her transformation into becoming  a ‘real looping boat’!

We’ll miss having Bushranger blog posts to read regularly, but so happy you are at this point, and hope you have a wonderful time Florida and Oz-land, you two! Happy holidays, safe travels, and a scratch behind the ears for Koko. Hugs, C&B

Thanks Cathryn and Bob. I love getting your comments. I hope we can catch up with you after the holidays. XXOO (Koko says “prrrrrr” about your scratching idea)

a box-packer with a screw driver, paint brush and dirty overalls …… scarey. Safe sailing, she looks a beauty.

Scary but true. Hopefully, Bushranger will be transiting the highways and byways of the US in the next few months — we will have to keep our fingers crossed.
