New Deal

2 Feb

Good bye little condo….

Okay, so here’s the deal.  It pretty much makes no sense for Bushranger to be in Mississippi and Boyd, Koko and I to be in Virginia.  So, since Bushranger is geographically challenged (hard to move about when you’re a boat with no engine or sails), Boyd, Koko and I need to reposition ourselves to Bushranger’s home in Iuka Mississippi.  Since that seems pretty obvious, Boyd and I (Koko did not get a vote, since she would have vehemently disagreed) decided that keeping this condo in Virginia all to ourselves is pretty silly.  So, starting the end of next week, Boyd, Koko and I will be vacating our Virginia condo and renting it out to a lovely lady in the Army. We will be putting all our “stuff” in storage, driving down to Iuka, and renting that little furnished cabin that is across from Bushranger’s marina.  Maybe, just maybe, if we are very good and everything goes smoothly, we three will be able to move onboard Bushranger in a couple of months (that’s assuming Bushranger acquires her engine, fuel tanks, floors, kitchen and any other essential item).

Please, keep your fingers crossed.  I’ll keep you posted.  Anyway, it’s back to packing planning for now….

Onward and upward, right!? Can we count Mississippi as upward, since it is so far south……?
