Getting Ready To Get Bushranger Out Of The Water

2 Oct

Tomorrow is the big day. Hopefully, the marina will be able to pull Bushranger out of the water so we can begin her big refit.  There’s not much more we can do, until she is out of the water.  Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well…

Bushranger looks good. Molly Brown, not so much. When El Capitan sails he’ll need his ICAF Tigers cap on. Madam First Mate’s “look” at breakfast is ‘poifect’! Koko has no clue but senses that living on the water within nose-shot of all-things-fish might be pretty cool. Keep us posted guys on how the renouvellement goes and as you prepare to launch for the great trip. A wonderful adventure, the blog is a fine idea. LynnAnne, are you finding WordPress user-friendly? Welcome Bill! I concur with all your assertions except one – Koko is pretty sure that there is NOTHING cool about living on a boat; living only a few feet from a large body of water. She still remembers the TWO times she slipped and fell into the bathtub — not a good look! Regarding WordPress, it’s a dream. Very user friendly. If you’re thinking of starting a blog, I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic! Is this Don Quixote with a new Ozzie name, or a different boat altogether? I reckon the new engine is a good idea, as then you will have no unpleasant surprises after you get underway. Just remember that a boat is really just a hole in the water where you keep throwing money!

      Hi Big Bro,
‘Bushranger’ WAS ‘Quixote’ in another life. Given that she was going to be getting all new ‘innards’, it seemed appropriate that she have a new name – and one that reflected her new Ozzie connections. So, far, ‘Bushranger’ has been proving you right about the hole in the water…
