The Start of the Adventure

29 Sep

This is the start of a new chapter in the life of a little 38 foot Marine Trader named Bushranger. Her mission is to discover the wonders the North American Great Loop; from the swamps of Florida, to the dunes of Michigan, and back again. She will get to know the nooks and crannies of the American river system; exploring both cities and towns, learning the local
customs, and photographing the beauties of nature. Along the way we hope to find new friends, taste new tastes, and learn about the great country in which we are living.  You are invited to come along with us on this journey by following this blog…

Thanks, Adrianna. I’m having such fun with this blog. I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed “musing” at the keyboard. I love the comments that everybody makes…..makes me feel like they’re with me on the adventure.

Absolutely love the blog…really enjoy the lightheartedness and levity of the musings, as well as the Captain’s Log that gives us a real look into the inner workings of making this “lady” work! Look forward to the updates…and I love the pictures. Helps to see what is being done, for those of us “land-based” folks.

Thanks, Jeanne. Hopefully, when we’re fully up and operational, you and Dave came ‘come aboard’ and help us explore!

Would love to come aboard and explore! Yeah!

ya gotta’! I’m sure, while we ‘coast’ by the Jersey Shore, you and Dave will be needed to help ‘crew’ ‘Brushranger’ into some of the lovely little hamlets along the the way.

Remember the Unsinkable Molly Brown movie. Great name for the “donor” boat.

‘Molly Brown’ — a noble name for a noble boat. Molly will be sacrificing her mobility so that ‘Bushranger’ can mature and develop! Thank you Molly.
